Crazy Training Day

Today I went for a bike ride with Mario, and then rode over to the running workout with the team at Kezar Stadium. It was a pretty brutal ride for me (though a "light workout" for Mario). We rode down the Presidio, along Crissy Field to the Marina, and back. Riding up the Presidio was pretty tough, I managed to keep moving the whole way, but managed to hit a heart rate of 211 doing so.

The running workout was tough, lots of strength training, pacing, and warmups and cooldowns. All in all, the coaches did a great job of tricking us into running around 6 miles and doing all kinds of other training (sit-ups, push-ups and stair climbing).

After the workout I had to ride my bike back home. Whew... burned a total of 1658 today. It will probably be a while before I ride my bike to the Wednesday coach runs again.

Hi Zack, I found your blogs through a search on Githa Ong and I found out about Githa's tragic death last year in a search for her brother-in-law, Deus Tulolo. Deus and my husband, Sang Lertkulvanich, were college roomates and we've lost touch with him over the years since we moved to Thailand. I've been able to find so much info. about Githa, that I almost feel like I knew her. She was so full of life... But I can't find anything on Deus. Well, this is a long shot, but do you have any names or addresses that would aid me in my search? I know that Deus married Githa's sister, Connie, and that they have at least one daughter named Amanda Marie. They are probably living in Glendale, CA. This is a lot to ask, but your blog site is current and, although a long shot, I would so appreciate your help. It would mean a lot to my husband to get back in touch with his best friend. If you have any information at all, could you please contact me at lertsang@yahoo.com? Or, if you're concerned about privacy, could you please have our email passed on to any of Githa relatives? Thanks.
